Alberto Gilardino admits Parma ‘conceded the goals far too easily’ in their third consecutive defeat…

Parma manager Alberto Gilardino admitted his team conceded goals far too easily following a 2-1 Serie A defeat to Lazio. Gilardino urged his players to maintain a positive approach despite suffering their third consecutive league loss. Simone Lontani scored a late stoppage-time consolation goal for Parma, marking the first goal of Gilardino's tenure since he replaced Carlos Cuesta.
Gilardino noted that defensive errors proved costly, with experienced defender Diego Carlos involved in both Lazio goals scored via Kenneth Taylor and an own goal. Parma has managed just one league victory this season and sits on six defeats through eight rounds. However, Gilardino praised youthful substitute Lontani and urged his squad to play without fear in their upcoming home fixture.
