Stow Acres Country Club, about 30 miles west of Boston, normally charges $50 for weekday green fees. This week, its rate is 50 cents.

Stow Acres Country Club in Massachusetts is celebrating its 100th anniversary by offering 50-cent green fees for nine holes. The limited-time promotional pricing was made available from Tuesday through Thursday between 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on the facility's South Course, quickly selling out all available tee times.
General manager David Carlson introduced the throwback fee alongside a restored 1920s-era routing to honor the site's history. Opened in 1926 as Mapledale Country Club by Robert Hawkins, the facility was among the first Black-owned and operated golf courses in the United States.
