Bo Bichette is expected to exercise his player option to remain with the New York Mets for the 2027 season, according to sources cited by Will Sammon. Bichette will earn $42 million for the 2027 campaign as part of the three-year contract he previously signed with the franchise.
Bichette originally joined the Mets in January on a three-year, $126 million deal after spending seven seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays. His contract also includes another $42 million player option for the 2028 season.
