The latest Josh Manson injury is not good for the Colorado Avalanche, testing the club's depth moving forward.

Colorado Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson is expected to miss approximately eight weeks after suffering an injury on Wednesday against the New Jersey Devils. Head coach Jared Bednar confirmed the timeline following Manson's awkward fall during the first period of Colorado's 5-2 victory at Ball Arena.
Defenseman Noah Juulsen is expected to step into the regular lineup to help fill the void left by Manson. Coach Bednar indicated that the Avalanche may proceed with six defensemen rather than immediately recalling an additional player from the AHL.
