Bristol Bears director of rugby Pat Lam has confirmed that England centre Benhard Janse van Rensburg is scheduled to return to action in December. The club is providing the 29-year-old sufficient time to recover after he suffered two serious head injuries within the span of three months.
Janse van Rensburg was stretchered off unconscious during Bristol's victory over Northampton on October 3 following a tackle attempt on Henry Pollock. The South Africa-born back, who qualified for England on residency grounds in July, had previously suffered a head injury on a stretcher against Argentina.
