The Atlanta Braves are running it back with the same coaching staff from 2026, for better or worse.

The Atlanta Braves have decided to retain their entire coaching staff for the 2027 season, according to sources reported by Jesús Cano of The Athletic. The group includes manager Walt Weiss and hitting coach Tim Hyers, whose contract was set to expire following the 2026 campaign.
Hyers will return despite fan frustration over Atlanta's offensive production, which ranked 20th in wRC+ and third-worst in walk rate in 2026. Pitching coach Jeremy Hefner, bench coach Tony Mansolino, and assistant hitting coach Darnell Coles are among the other staff members confirmed to return.
