The daughter of the last Italian to win the F1 drivers' championship with Ferrari has warned that Lewis Hamilton's career will end poorly.

Patrizia Ascari, the daughter of two-time Formula 1 world champion Alberto Ascari, offered a harsh assessment of Lewis Hamilton's move to Ferrari. Speaking to Il Giornale, she described Hamilton as a "poor thing" for joining the Maranello team and claimed that his career met a bad end because Ferrari will never win again.
Ascari also shared high praise for new Italian champion Kimi Antonelli, who secured the 2026 title in Mexico City. Meanwhile, Ferrari's constructors' championship drought is set to reach 18 seasons as Mercedes closes in on securing the 2026 title in Brazil.
