Formula 1 returns to the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo for the 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday, November 8. Located in the Interlagos district, the 4.309-kilometer circuit features 71 race laps, a 43-meter elevation change, and famous sections like the Senna S. Construction originally began in 1938, with the venue hosting its first world championship race in 1973 before introducing a shorter layout in 1990.
Valtteri Bottas holds the official lap record of 1:10.540 set with Mercedes in 2018, while Michael Schumacher stands as the venue's most successful driver with four career victories. The historic track previously hosted iconic title deciders, including Ayrton Senna's 1991 home win, Lewis Hamilton's dramatic maiden championship victory in 2008, and Sebastian Vettel's third title triumph in 2012.
