The Golden State Warriors have expressed trade interest in Chicago Bulls center Jalen Smith as part of discussions involving Kristaps Porzingis, according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints. The Bulls have shown reluctance to execute a trade at this stage, preferring to assess their roster closer to the deadline unless draft compensation is offered.
Porzingis is currently sidelined indefinitely due to a lingering medical issue linked to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and is on an expiring $20 million contract. Golden State has also engaged in trade conversations regarding Porzingis with the Milwaukee Bucks and New Orleans Pelicans, though no deal is reportedly close.
