Alethea Paul says Burnley Women can’t dwell on defeats as they target a first win of the season against Bristol City on Saturday.
Burnley Women player Alethea Paul stated the team cannot dwell on consecutive losses as they target their first victory of the season against Bristol City on Saturday. The Clarets suffered a 3-0 away defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Friday night, with all three goals conceded within a 10-minute spell during the first half.
The loss followed a 2-1 defeat to Sunderland at Turf Moor, where the opposition scored the winning goal in the 98th minute. Paul noted that despite the disappointment, Burnley showed positive signs from set pieces and will work to improve their final product as the long season continues.
