The Dallas Stars trimmed their training camp roster down to 39 players on Wednesday morning ahead of their preseason series against the Minnesota Wild. Forward Jack Becker headlined the departures after being released from his professional tryout, despite scoring the game-winning goal in Sunday's preseason opener against the St. Louis Blues.
Dallas also placed defenseman Aram Minnetian, Connor Punnett, and forwards Justin Ertel, Christian Fitzgerald, Ayrton Martino, and Charlie Paquette on waivers. Additionally, Benjamin Gleason and Kyle Looft were released from tryouts, while Ryan Brown, Mikhail Cherepanov, Brandon Gorzynski, and Jakub Vaněček were returned to their junior clubs.
