West Ham United reportedly made a serious approach to sign midfielder Yunus Musah from AC Milan during the summer transfer window. Following West Ham's relegation, manager Nuno Espírito Santo sought midfield reinforcements, and Milan were initially open to parting with the 23-year-old United States international following his loan spell at Atalanta.
However, Musah's situation changed when AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim evaluated him during pre-season and chose to keep him. Musah has since played over 400 minutes across all competitions, establishing himself as a vital midfield asset for the Serie A side and ending potential transfer interest.
