Andy Robertson reveals one ‘strange’ experience he has had since joining Tottenham

Andy Robertson reflected on his return to Anfield as a Tottenham Hotspur player following his summer transfer from Liverpool. Robertson came on as a 57th-minute substitute for Destiny Udogie during Tottenham's 3-1 Carabao Cup third-round loss to Liverpool. Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, the 32-year-old left-back described the experience as strange but expressed gratitude for the warm reception he received from the home supporters.

Robertson noted he originally expected to face his former side later in December. Despite Tottenham's difficult start under manager Roberto De Zerbi, remaining winless after five Premier League games, Robertson praised new teammate James Maddison for his impressive performances in training.
