Lewis Miller has been absent with an achilles injury since February, and the Blackburn Rovers man has issued a new update.

Blackburn Rovers defender Lewis Miller has returned to running on grass as he progresses in his recovery from a ruptured Achilles tendon. The 26-year-old Australian sustained the long-term injury in February during his first appearance under Michael O'Neill, which followed his regular starting role under former manager Valerien Ismael.
Miller revealed he is incrementally building up his running distances under the guidance of the club's medical staff. Following a trip to Australia during the international break, the plan is for Miller to begin ball-work and change-of-direction exercises as manager Tony Mowbray awaits his return to fitness.
