Vancouver Canucks Reveal 2026-27 Season-Opening Roster

The Vancouver Canucks officially announced their 23-man season-opening roster for the 2026-27 NHL campaign. The squad features 21 skaters and two goaltenders, including Kevin Lankinen and Leevi Meriläinen in net. Vancouver opens its season against the Edmonton Oilers on September 29.

Goaltender Thatcher Demko and forward Filip Chytil will both begin the season on injured reserve. The roster includes 13 forwards, such as Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser, and Jake DeBrusk, alongside eight defensemen led by Filip Hronek and Zeev Buium.
