Mohammad Rizwan makes big request to NCCIA over his seized phone

Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has reportedly requested that the NCCIA return his seized personal phone without further delay. Rizwan and teammate Imam-ul-Haq have come under scrutiny over alleged involvement in illegal betting activities, leading the Pakistan Cricket Board to hand their devices to investigators. In his letter, Rizwan also requested that any future communications from the investigation agency be directed through official channels to his residential address.

Previous appeals by Rizwan to the Lahore High Court and the International Cricket Council for intervention or safeguards regarding the investigation process were rejected. Separately, Pakistan batter Babar Azam is set to enter the upcoming International League T20 auction alongside 17 other Pakistani players scheduled for October 1 in Dubai.
