Peter O’Mahony has picked Andy Farrell over Rassie Erasmus as the best coach he worked under, despite offering a glowing assessment of the Springbok boss’ coaching ability.

Former Ireland and Munster captain Peter O’Mahony has stated that he would choose Andy Farrell over Rassie Erasmus as the best coach of his career. Speaking on the For the Love of Rugby podcast following the release of his book All In, O’Mahony praised both men but labeled Farrell the "complete package" for his leadership, communication, and game philosophy.
O’Mahony acknowledged Erasmus' tactical prowess and his hands-on work with Munster's forwards following Anthony Foley's death. He also highlighted how the movement of coaches and players between Ireland and South Africa has intensified the rivalry between the two national sides.
