Reuben Love's injury opens the door for Richie Mo'unga to start against the Wallabies.
Richie Mo'unga is poised to secure the starting first five-eighth role for the All Blacks in the upcoming Bledisloe Cup tests against the Wallabies following an ankle injury to Ruben Love. Head coach Dave Rennie named Mo'unga alongside uncapped Josh Jacomb as the squad's two primary fly-halves in his 34-man selection, while Damian McKenzie and Beauden Barrett remain designated as outside backs.
Mo'unga returned to New Zealand rugby this season after three years with Japan's Toshiba Brave Lupus. The All Blacks are aiming to bounce back from a three-game losing streak and maintain their unbeaten Eden Park record dating back to 1994, with Mo'unga looking to make an impact after recently rejoining the squad.
