Raptors Proposed To Trade RJ Barrett For All-NBA Center In Blockbuster Deal

Bleacher Report's Dan Favale proposed a blockbuster four-team trade that would see the Toronto Raptors acquire Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis while sending RJ Barrett to the Charlotte Hornets. The proposed trade also involves the Los Angeles Clippers and would see Toronto part with center Jakob Poeltl and draft capital to land the All-NBA big man alongside Kawhi Leonard and Scottie Barnes.

The trade idea comes as Barrett approaches eligibility for a four-year, $185.6 million contract extension, with reports indicating no substantive talks have occurred. Under the proposal, Sacramento would acquire Poeltl, Royce O'Neale, Tidjane Salaün, and multiple draft picks, while the Clippers would receive Pat Connaughton and draft compensation.
