The Toronto Raptors and third-year guard Jamal Shead have agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract extension, according to his agent KJ Smith. The new agreement keeps the 24-year-old under contract with the franchise through the 2029-30 season.
Shead was entering the final season of his previous deal after being drafted 45th overall in 2024. He has established a steady backcourt role through his defense and playmaking as Toronto builds around Scottie Barnes.
