Rick Bowness Provides Great Injury News Ahead Of This Weekends Games

Columbus Blue Jackets head coach Rick Bowness announced after practice that defenseman Damon Severson is expected to return to the lineup for the upcoming weekend games. The Blue Jackets are scheduled to host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday before traveling to face the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. Bowness highlighted Severson's importance to the team, confirming they are counting on his presence.

Severson's anticipated return provides a major boost to the Columbus blue line following shoulder surgery he underwent in April. The team has already dealt with early injury setbacks during camp, notably losing defensemen Dante Fabbro and Ivan Provorov.
