Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Elliot Anderson from Manchester City if City face expulsion from the Premier League.

Manchester United are reportedly in pole position to sign midfielder Elliot Anderson from Manchester City if the club faces relegation. According to former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown, speaking to Football Insider, the 23-year-old could look to leave the Etihad Stadium should City receive severe sanctions following findings of financial rule breaches.
Manchester City have appealed the independent commission's decision, with potential punishments ranging from substantial points deductions to total expulsion. United previously targeted Anderson before City signed him, subsequently bringing in midfielders Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, and Carlos Baleba instead.
