Manchester United are considering former Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe as a potential successor to Michael Carrick if a change is made.

Manchester United will reportedly consider hiring former Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe if they decide to dismiss current head coach Michael Carrick. Although INEOS has opted against making an immediate managerial change despite a difficult start to the season, Howe is viewed as a suitable successor if results do not improve following the international break.
According to a report from Football Insider, Howe has admirers at Old Trafford and appeals to the club due to his extensive experience in both the Premier League and the Champions League. Howe has been out of work since leaving Newcastle United in the summer.
