The Story in 60 Seconds

Clippers wing Max Strus suffered a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his right foot during Sunday's preseason opener. The team announced that Strus will be reevaluated in four weeks, which projects to sideline him for the rest of the preseason and the beginning of the 2026/27 regular season.

Strus, who was acquired by Los Angeles from the Cavaliers via a five-team trade, sustained the non-contact injury in the first quarter against Golden State. His absence adds to wing depth issues for the Clippers, who are also without Brandon Ingram and Jordan Miller due to injuries.
