The Charlotte Hornets and forward Brandon Miller are reportedly in advanced contract talks regarding a rookie-scale max extension worth over $200 million. According to ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel, the 23-year-old is expected to finalize the agreement before the start of the 2026-27 NBA season. Miller enters the final year of his four-year rookie contract, earning a base salary of $15 million this season.
Miller has become Charlotte's primary offensive centerpiece following the offseason trade of LaMelo Ball to the Minnesota Timberwolves. After averaging 20.2 points per game while playing through a shoulder subluxation last season, Miller confirmed he has completed summer rehabilitation and feels significantly improved heading into the upcoming campaign.
