Borussia Dortmund's Mathis Albert saw his record as the youngest USMNT goalscorer broken after only four days.

Cavan Sullivan became the youngest goalscorer in USMNT history during a friendly victory over rivals Mexico at State Farm Stadium. The 17-year-old scored just six days after his birthday, breaking the previous record established only four days prior by Borussia Dortmund's Mathis Albert against Chile.
Bayer Leverkusen's Malik Tillman also found the net, scoring his fourth goal in five matches after Mexico was reduced to ten men. Albert later replaced Tillman as a substitute, while Elversberg winger Cole Campbell remained unused in Mauricio Pochettino's squad ahead of their upcoming match against Canada.
