The Calgary Flames unveiled revamped forward line combinations during Wednesday's practice at the Scotiabank Saddledome ahead of their matchup against the Colorado Avalanche. Recent AHL call-ups Aydar Suniev and Jonathan Castagna practiced on a forward unit alongside Adam Klapka, with Castagna projected to make his NHL debut on Thursday evening.
The lineup reshuffle follows a difficult start to the season for Calgary, which sits without a standings point after losing three consecutive games while being outscored 16-3. Goaltender Dustin Wolf is anticipated to start in net against Colorado, while Brennan Othmann, Maxim Tsyplakov, and Joel Hanley are expected to be healthy scratches.
