The Arizona Cardinals are preparing to give rookie offensive tackle Jayden Williams his first career NFL start this week against the Detroit Lions. Williams is stepping into the starting left tackle role after starter Paris Johnson Jr. underwent season-ending surgery.
Selected in the seventh round out of Ole Miss, the 6-foot-4, 307-pound Williams earned the backup role before the season and will now face Detroit pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson on the edge.
