Colton Parayko plays his 804th game in a Blues uniform, passing Barret Jackman for the franchise record among defensemen on the 11th anniversary of his NHL debut.

St. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko became the franchise's all-time leader in games played by a defenseman during a home opener against the San Jose Sharks. Playing in his 804th career regular-season game, Parayko passed Barret Jackman for sole possession of the blue-line record. The milestone occurred on the anniversary of his NHL debut, which took place in 2015 against the Edmonton Oilers.
The achievement also places the 33-year-old defenseman second overall in franchise games played, trailing only Bernie Federko's record of 927 appearances. Parayko, who was drafted 86th overall in 2012 and contributed to the Blues' 2019 Stanley Cup victory, entered the contest with 81 career goals and 314 points.
