Several NHL teams received key injury updates on Thursday involving Seth Jarvis, Artem Zub, Victor Olofsson, and Olli Maatta. Carolina Hurricanes winger Jarvis was cleared for contact for the first time since undergoing offseason shoulder surgery, eyeing a potential return by late October or November. Ottawa Senators defenseman Zub also resumed skating after dealing with a knee issue that sidelined him for the team's first three games.
Meanwhile, the Vegas Golden Knights will be without forward Olofsson, who is week-to-week after suffering an upper-body injury against Seattle. Additionally, Minnesota Wild defenseman Maatta was ruled day-to-day following a late scratch against Tampa Bay due to a lower-body injury, joining several other injured teammates on the sidelines.
