The Bucks take the L in Taylor Jenkins’ first game as head coach.

The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 116-97 in a preseason opener at Fiserv Forum. Joan Beringer led Minnesota with 12 points and seven rebounds, while new arrival LaMelo Ball made his preseason debut alongside Anthony Edwards. The defeat marked the start of a new era for Milwaukee, whose offense struggled to convert scoring chances throughout the game.
Ryan Rollins led the Bucks with 15 points despite fouling out in 14 minutes of action. Kel'el Ware added a double-double for Milwaukee, while rookie Tyler Herro and Kyle Kuzma also featured, with Kuzma enduring a difficult debut where he scored just one point on 0-for-6 shooting.
