Jarrod Bowen saw his 91st-minute penalty saved as West Ham missed the chance to move top of the Sky Bet Championship after a 1-1 draw with QPR.

West Ham United were held to a 1-1 draw against Queens Park Rangers at the London Stadium after Jarrod Bowen saw a stoppage-time penalty saved. QPR opened the scoring in the 18th minute through a controversial Nicolas Madsen penalty following Tomas Soucek's challenge on Paul Smyth. Bowen leveled for the Hammers in the 70th minute before seeing his late spot-kick denied.
In the 90th minute, West Ham earned a penalty after Amadou Mbengue pulled Pablo's shirt in the box. However, QPR goalkeeper Pierce Charles saved Bowen's 91st-minute effort and tipped Arne Engels' follow-up over the bar to secure a point, lifting Rangers to fifth in the Sky Bet Championship table.
