A change in date for the T20 Champions Trophy means Megan Schutt may not be done with ICC tournaments just yet

Australian fast bowler Megan Schutt is not ruling out participating in the inaugural ICC T20 Champions Trophy in India next year. Although the 33-year-old previously indicated that the T20 World Cup in England would be her final ICC tournament, the Champions Trophy was rescheduled from June 2027 to February. Schutt stated that she is open to playing if selected, but remains pragmatic given the fierce competition for spots in the national squad.
Schutt's comments followed Australia's seven-wicket ODI victory over Bangladesh at Allan Border Field, where she recorded bowling figures of 2-19 from 10 overs. The performance marked a significant career milestone, making Schutt only the third Australian woman to reach 150 ODI wickets, joining Cathryn Fitzpatrick and Ellyse Perry.
