Yikes! Newly-crowned UFC titleholder Natalia Silva returns home to champion’s parade (but nobody showed up) | Video

Newly crowned UFC women's flyweight champion Natalia Silva returned home to a championship parade where nobody showed up to celebrate her victory. A video showed Silva riding in the back of a truck traveling down an empty road following her vacant title win. She captured the belt after extending her UFC win streak to nine fights against Wang Cong at UFC 332 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The article notes that some fans have struggled to view Silva as the true champion after former titleholder Valentina Shevchenko vacated the belt due to injury. Despite Silva securing the championship decision in a five-round main event, her title victory and subsequent hometown parade struggled to attract fan turnout.
