South Africa allrounder questions tactics after tourists moved from dire straits to position of dominance

South Africa allrounder Wiaan Mulder admitted the Proteas made things too easy for Matt Renshaw during day two of the first Test in Durban. Renshaw scored 190 to rescue Australia from 6-124 and 8-230, guiding the tourists to 390 before South Africa reached 1-27 at stumps on Saturday.
Mulder questioned South Africa's fielding tactics under captain Temba Bavuma, noting Renshaw comfortably rotated the strike while batting with tailender Nathan Lyon. Australia's lower-order fightback also forced South Africa's pace bowlers to bowl extended spells, including 28 overs from returning fast bowler Anrich Nortje.
