The Lightning could be a good fit for this Flames forward.

The Hockey News argues that the Tampa Bay Lightning should consider acquiring forward Connor Zary via trade from the Calgary Flames. Despite starting the season with a 4-1-0 record, the outlet suggests Tampa Bay would benefit from adding another top-nine forward to their roster, making the former first-round pick an appealing target after he recently cleared waivers.
The writer notes that Calgary is looking to move on from Zary, who could benefit from a fresh start on a competitive roster. While Zary managed 25 points in 74 games last season, he previously recorded 34 points in 63 games as a rookie in 2023-24 and 27 points in 54 games during the 2024-25 campaign.
