The Anaheim Ducks will look slightly different tonight against the Calgary Flames. In their game-day preview, the Ducks confirmed several previously referenced transactions.
The Anaheim Ducks have announced several roster changes ahead of their game against the Calgary Flames. Anaheim recalled 20-year-old forward Roger McQueen from the AHL's San Diego Gulls to make his NHL debut. McQueen will center the third line between Frank Vatrano and A.J. Greer. Additionally, the Ducks activated defenseman Drew Helleson for his season debut after he missed the first five games due to an undisclosed injury.
To make room on the roster, the Ducks placed forward Ryan Poehling on injured reserve with an MCL sprain, which is expected to sideline him for six to eight weeks. Meanwhile, winger Cutter Gauthier is expected to miss only a few days with an injury.
