Elon Musk Responded to Lewis Hamilton’s Controversial Africa Comments

Elon Musk issued a one-word response of "Hmm" on X reacting to comments made by Lewis Hamilton regarding Africa. Ahead of the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, the seven-time Formula One world champion called on African nations to take back resources and land from European nations including Britain, France, Spain, and Portugal, arguing that external control has limited the continent's potential.

Hamilton, who has ancestral ties to Togo and Benin, has spent years lobbying Formula One to host a race in Africa. F1 subsequently announced plans to hold a Grand Prix in Rwanda. Musk, who was born in Pretoria, South Africa, offered no further elaboration beyond his brief reply on his social media platform.
