EFL preview: Shining lights and dark nights

Championship leaders Swansea City host third-placed West Ham United on Saturday in a clash between the division's meanest defense and top-scoring attack. Swansea hold a four-point advantage over West Ham following four consecutive wins, while the Hammers have scored 29 goals in 10 games. Meanwhile, 17th-placed Leicester City host Doncaster Rovers with manager Russell Martin under intense scrutiny after three home defeats in four games.

Elsewhere in the Championship, fourth-placed Birmingham City and fifth-placed Queens Park Rangers face off after big midweek victories. In League One, table-toppers Plymouth Argyle host Huddersfield Town with just four points separating the division's top seven teams. League Two leaders Salford City also host bottom-placed Crawley Town amid an exceptionally tight battle across the top 14 sides.
