After an injury-plagued stint with the Sens and a brief return to Detroit, veteran forward David Perron appears to have found another NHL opportunity.

Veteran forward David Perron is reportedly joining the Dallas Stars, embarking on his 20th NHL season, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. The move marks the tenth time the 38-year-old winger has changed teams across a career spanning more than 1,200 games, which originally started with the St. Louis Blues back in 2007.
Perron's upcoming tenure follows an injury-hit stint with the Ottawa Senators, who initially signed him to a two-year, $8 million contract in 2024. After producing 41 points across 92 games in Ottawa, Perron was traded at the deadline to the Detroit Red Wings, where he finished out the previous campaign.
