Ferrari is expected to introduce a new floor at the United States Grand Prix as part of its final major upgrade package of the 2026 season. The planned development at the Circuit of the Americas aims to generate equal or greater downforce while enabling a less stiff setup to widen the car's operating window. Additional revised sidepods and bodywork may also be introduced either in Austin or at the Mexican Grand Prix.
Ferrari currently occupies second place in the constructors' standings with 444 points, trailing championship leader Mercedes at 578 points. Team principal Fred Vasseur downplayed suggestions that Red Bull is the outright team to beat despite Max Verstappen's recent dominance in Singapore, noting that performance among the top four teams continues to shift as new upgrades arrive.
