Lewis Hamilton has spotted an area he believes Ferrari could earn a "huge performance" boost.

Lewis Hamilton believes Ferrari can unlock a major performance boost by improving its understanding of Pirelli tires under the 2026 regulations. The British driver highlighted that mastering tire science represents significant untapped potential for the Italian team, describing proper tire optimization as an essential science that delivers vital speed.
Under the 2026 regulations, Pirelli has mandated higher tire pressures due to new straight-line modes and active aerodynamics. Beyond tire optimization, Hamilton noted that Ferrari is satisfied with the car's development but needs cleaner, sharper execution across entire race weekends to maximize overall results.
