Wales centre Ben Thomas is set to miss the start of the Nations Championship due to a calf injury. Cardiff head coach Corniel van Zyl confirmed the setback, noting that Thomas might not recover in time for the opening fixtures.
Wales are scheduled to face Japan on November 7 before taking on New Zealand and Australia. Van Zyl stated that while Thomas may miss the first or second match, he is still expected to play a role later in the Nations Championship campaign.
