Aston Martin's mysterious, one-off track car has been spotted testing at the Paul Ricard circuit in France amid reports that it could outpace Formula 1 machinery. The single-seater vehicle combines elements of a Formula 1 chassis—including an exposed suspension and halo—with prototype bodywork influenced by the Valkyrie.
According to a report by Auto Motor und Sport, the track car was commissioned by Citadel founder Ken Griffin to be the fastest track car in the world. Unconfirmed reports suggest the car may produce around 1,200 hp using a Cosworth 6.5-liter V12 engine.
