Christian Horner has explained how his wife, former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, helped him cope with public criticism and fan hate following his rise to celebrity status via Netflix's Drive to Survive. Halliwell, who experienced massive global fame from a young age, advised the former Red Bull team principal to ignore negative press and remain true to himself despite polarized public reactions.
Horner recalled being heavily booed during the F1 75 Live season launch event in London in 2025. Following the hostile reception, Halliwell comforted him by noting that people only boo when they care, helping him put the intense scrutiny into perspective.
