Germany manager Jürgen Klopp plans to narrow his national team player pool following an experimental September international break. After assessing more than 40 players across two squads, Klopp confirmed that the team will begin gathering insights and evaluating top performances ahead of future fixtures. The decision follows a disappointing 0-0 draw against Greece in UEFA Nations League play.
The writer notes that Klopp is expected to trim the squad toward a standard 23 or 24 players for competitive fixtures and major tournaments.
