Jonas Boldt has been relieved of his duties as Hannover 96's managing director for sport.

Hannover 96 have officially relieved Jonas Boldt of his duties as the club's managing director for sport. The decision comes after a poor start to the season that has left Hannover in 16th place in the 2. Bundesliga after nine matches.
Boldt's departure follows a 0-2 loss to Kaiserslautern in the DFB-Pokal, extending the club's winless streak to four matches across all competitions. Having only assumed the sporting director role at the beginning of June, his tenure lasted less than five months.
