Former Newcastle United director Amanda Staveley has spoken out following her consortium's unsuccessful attempt to invest in West Ham United. Her group had initially agreed to acquire Vanessa Gold's 25.1 percent stake in the club. However, the transaction collapsed after current shareholders stepped in by exercising their pre-emption rights to block the sale.
Following the intervention, existing shareholder Daniel Křetínský agreed to deals that will elevate his stake to 46 percent, making him the club's single largest shareholder. Despite the disappointment, reports indicate Staveley still retains respect for West Ham and remains interested in the club's future developments.
