Former Vancouver Whitecaps star Sebastian Berhalter scores and assists as USA rout Peru

Former Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Sebastian Berhalter scored a goal and provided an assist to lead the United States to a 4-1 victory over Peru at Inter.co Stadium in Orlando. Berhalter entered the match in the 62nd minute as part of a five-player substitution made by manager Mauricio Pochettino while the match was tied 1-1.

Justin Ellis opened the scoring for the U.S. before Gianluca Lapadula equalized for Peru. Malik Tillman broke the deadlock with a 66th-minute penalty, followed by Berhalter assisting Julian Hall's first international goal and later scoring a 30-yard strike past goalkeeper Pedro Gallese.
