Arturo Ruiz on his coaching start and London City trip

Brighton Women head coach Arturo Ruiz reflected on his coaching journey following his team's 4-0 victory against Charlton in the Subway Players League Cup. The 29-year-old manager discussed his background and development after guiding his squad to cup success ahead of their upcoming fixture against London City.

Ruiz began coaching 11 years ago at age 18, encouraged by his mother to speak with his coach while playing for an under-18 team. He initially served as an assistant coach for an under-13 side, later studied sports psychology in Madrid, and has now taken his first professional coaching role abroad with Brighton Women.
